Armed forces

We all know about Armed forces  and their role in and for the country so let's directly move on to the other aspects like eligibility, entrances and ways of building a Military career in Army.

 

After 12th

After completing 10+2, there are many ways to join the different armed forces like Army, Air Force and Navy.


Indian Army 

There are more than one way to build a career in Armed forces and are mentioned as follows:


1. NDA & NA Examination

  • NDA exams happen twice a year 
  • Tentative months of examination will be April and November


Eligibility for NDA :
Age – 16 ½ to 19½ yrs

  • Qualification – 12th Class of 10+2 for Army and with Physics and Maths for AF/Navy
  • Marital Status – Unmarried


2. Technical Entry Scheme -TES(For High School Science Graduates):

  • Entry into is open twice a year.
  • Apr and Sep are basically the months when the forms are being rolled out
  • Qualification – 10+2 Physics, Chemistry & Maths (aggregate 70% and above to apply)
  • Marital Status – Unmarried

Eligibility for NDA :

  • Age – 16 ½ to 19½ yrs
  • Qualification – 12th Class of 10+2 for Army and with Physics and Maths for AF/Navy
  • Marital Status – Unmarried


2. 10+2 B.tech Cadet Entry: 

  • Age: 17 to 19½ years .
  • Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 70 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
  • One can directly apply online from nausena–bharti.nic.in , selection for SSB Interview based on the cut off percentage decided by Indian Navy.
