What is it?

BBA stands for Bachelor of Business Administration. It is a undergraduate degree in  management education course. Students who have passed 12th standard in any stream are eligible to secure an admission into the course.


The duration of the bachelors program in business administration is 3 years. 

Eligibility criteria & Admissions

  • 10+2 passed in any stream from a recognized board (or equivalent)
  • Minimum aggregate marks expected for admission is between 50-55% aggregate marks
  • Few colleges & universities also conduct entrance examination for admissions
  • Many colleges have the merit based admission system

What it teaches

As mentioned, it is a under graduate degree in general management course that comprises of studies on various subjects like HR, finance .management skills, supply chain management, accounting, business planning, laws, international business, operations management, marketing etc. The BBA course gives you the detailed knowledge of all the mentioned subjects.

Now, a new course in BBA is also included which is called BBA Honours & it consists of specializations like Airport Management, Finance Management, Hotel Management etc. 

BBA, if later complimented by MBA from the reputed institute can do wonders for the career of the student who is seeking career in management!
