Integrated Law Course
What is it?
The law education is the only legal education in India.
Before practicing Law, the students have to pass the Law degree course.
There are two ways in which one can study Law in India-
After 12th - 5 years long Integrated Law course after 12th
After Graduation - 3 years long L.L.B. course after Graduation from any Discipline
Some common examples of Integrated Law programs are-
- B.Sc. (different specializations) L.L.B.
- B.Com. L.L.B.
- B.A. L.L.B.
- B.B.A. L.L.B.
- B.Tech. L.L.B.
Integrated Law program allows you to combine two Degrees Program. One is L.L.B. and other is could be the one that is pursued in 12th standard like B. Sc.,B. Com, B. A, B.B.A or B. Tech.
Eligibility and Admission process for Integrated Law course:
12th Science, Commerce and Arts stream students, who have cleared their Board examinations from a recognized board, are eligible to apply for Integrated Law course (5 years long program).
There may be a requirement of minimum 50% marks for Admission in Good Institutes. Also, in case of many Institutes, merit marks scored in entrance exam like CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is crucial.
After graduation, one may enrol with the Bar Council of India and start working as an Advocate,
